Founded in 2024, the company was formed from the unified rebrand of Calyx and Invicro in September 2024 and serves pharmaceutical, biotech and clinical research organisations across the R&D lifecycle. Its operations span the US, Europe, the UK and Asia, with service delivery available 24/7.

The company operates three service lines. Perceptive Discovery provides preclinical and translational imaging services, including radiochemistry and in vivo imaging. Perceptive eClinical offers cloud-based randomization and trial supply management platforms alongside electronic clinical outcome assessments (eCOA). Perceptive Imaging functions as an independent imaging core laboratory supporting clinical trials worldwide. Technical domains covered include radiochemistry, radiopharmaceutical therapy, first-in-human imaging and imaging core laboratory services.

Perceptive reports that it has supported nearly 12,000 clinical trials and over 800 regulatory approvals, drawing on more than 50 years of combined specialised experience in the clinical research industry. The company serves most of the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies and works across oncology, neuroscience, radiopharmaceutical therapy and rare diseases.
