Sunlighten

Sunlighten, founded in 1999 and based in Leawood, Kansas, designs and sells patented infrared saunas, including the mPulse Smart Sauna and SoloCarbon heating technology, across six or more countries.

Sunlighten designs and sells patented infrared saunas, positioning itself as a global leader in personalised infrared light therapy. Founded in 1999 as Sunlight Saunas and later rebranded, the company is headquartered in Leawood, Kansas, and operates across the United Kingdom, Australia, China, Hungary and Malaysia. Its products are sold into the wellness and spa market, home health equipment, health and fitness, and longevity and preventive health.

The product line is built around two proprietary technologies. The mPulse Smart Sauna is described as the only infrared sauna delivering four precise wavelengths, allowing users to tailor sessions to their own wellness goals. Underlying it is SoloCarbon, a patented heating technology said to produce high-quality and high-quantity infrared output with clinically validated health benefits. The company reports more than 30 global patents covering its technology and design, 25 years of infrared sauna innovation, and a network of more than 200 wellness experts who work with the brand.

The company was founded by Jason Lincoln Jeffers following a personal health transformation after a decade of chronic illness, and is led by CEO Aaron Zack and co-owner Connie Zack. Its stated ethos is to help people "feel better, do more, and live fully", with an emphasis on science-backed, clinically validated products. Sunlighten has been featured in Vogue, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal.
