Tomofun

Tomofun makes AI-powered pet cameras and subscription monitoring services under the Furbo brand, used by millions of pet owners across 113 countries.

Tomofun, founded in Taiwan in 2014, develops AI-powered pet cameras and monitoring services sold under the Furbo brand. Its flagship product, an interactive pet camera that lets owners see, talk to and dispense treats to their pets remotely, launched in 2015 and is described as the world's first AIoT treat-tossing pet camera. The company says it is the number-one best-selling interactive pet camera on Amazon in 15 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom and Japan, with millions of users across 113 countries.

The product line combines consumer hardware with subscription software. Furbo Pet Nanny, introduced in 2019, is an AI-powered subscription service that issues smart alerts about a pet's safety and well-being while the animal is home alone. Technical work spans AIoT, artificial intelligence and computer vision applied to alerting, alongside consumer hardware and recurring software services - an arrangement that pairs physical product marketing with subscription growth and retention.

Tomofun was founded by two pet owners and concentrates on the pet technology, consumer electronics and smart-home sectors. The company reports that its monitoring features have contributed to hundreds of pets' lives being saved. It operates from Taiwan with a customer base spanning 113 countries, with its largest markets including the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan.
