Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, LLC

Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, LLC is building OCVIBE, a $4 billion mixed-use entertainment district in Anaheim centred on Honda Center and ARTIC, with phased openings from 2025 to 2029.

Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, LLC is developing OCVIBE, a $4 billion, 100+ acre mixed-use entertainment district in Anaheim's Platinum Triangle, centred on Honda Center and the ARTIC transportation intermodal hub. Groundbreaking took place in June 2023, with phased openings scheduled between 2025 and 2029. The project is primarily privately funded by Henry and Susan Samueli, supplemented by $400 million in bonds from the City of Anaheim.

The district combines arena, live music, hospitality, dining, residential and commercial uses. Components include Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks NHL team; The Weave, 168,000 square feet of office space; Katella Commons, a 50,000 square foot market hall with 21 chef-driven kitchens; Golden Bear, a revived rock nightclub; and a new 6,000-capacity concert venue. In total the plan accommodates more than 35 restaurants, 500+ hotel rooms, 2,500 residences, three miles of walking trails and 20 acres of parks and plazas, with entertainment capacity for 25,000+ guests.

Technical work underpinning the development spans sustainable construction, on-site solar power generation (9MW), mixed-use urban planning and transportation intermodal integration. The district is programmed for 365 days a year of activation and is designed as a walkable, human-scaled destination intended as a prototype for converting single-use parking lots around suburban venues. OCVIBE is projected to generate $9.2 million in annual new revenue for Anaheim and thousands of jobs.
