Oak builds an AI-native identity governance platform for humans, machines and AI agents, combining a live identity graph, an AI Connector Framework and autonomous agents.
Oak is an AI-native identity security company founded in 2025 and headquartered in Israel, with a presence in the United States. Its product, the Oak Identity Operating System, is a governance platform covering the full lifecycle of every identity in the enterprise - human, machine, and AI agent - and is designed to provide real-time visibility into access patterns and security risks across on-premises, cloud, SaaS and homegrown applications.
The platform rests on several technical components: an AI Connector Framework that integrates with any application to gather identity data across the enterprise; a Live Identity Graph built from raw evidence, through which all identities are viewed and governed; and autonomous AI agents that manage identity lifecycles within the unified system. The company's technical work spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, graph technology, access management and cybersecurity, applied to the identity and access management sector.
Oak emerged from stealth in 2025 with $60 million in seed funding from Greylock, Accel, CRV, Hetz Ventures and AlphaDrive Ventures. It was founded by Shai Morag and Tal Marom, both cybersecurity veterans and former executives at Ermetic, which was acquired by Tenable. The company operates in the enterprise software and IT security verticals.
